FARM RAISER
Since 2020, Farm Raiser has been dedicated to growing nourishing produce for our local community while stewarding the land with care. We are a not-for-profit social enterprise committed to making high-quality food accessible and providing education and vocational pathways for students with disabilities.
Farm Raiser is led by Eve and Charlotte, who balance the daily demands of running the farm with their passion for education, inclusion, and community-building. We collaborate closely with Waratah Special Developmental School, providing hands-on learning experiences that help students develop skills, confidence, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
Our food relief efforts include concession pricing through our on-site farm shop, work with Launch Housing and BANSIC, and growing culturally appropriate produce based on community consultation.
While we started with grant funding to establish our infrastructure, we have sustained our farm through the sale of our produce, remaining independent, grassroots and community-driven. We are a small team, but with the support of our volunteers, students, and local partners, we continue to grow—both food and opportunities for those who need them most.
